Welcome to Pilar do Rio. These purchase conditions govern the sale and purchase of our handmade products through pilardorio.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Jewellery

Every piece of jewellery at Pilar do Rio is designed and carefully handcrafted by an independent artisan based in Lisbon, Portugal. Because our items are made-to-order, slight natural variations in materials and shapes may occur, making your piece completely unique.

2. Processing & Making Times

We do not hold large volumes of pre-made stock. Because everything is handmade to order, please allow up to 7 business days for us to craft your jewelry before it ships. We always aim to fulfill your order as quickly as possible, and many orders will ship within 2 business days. You will receive a tracking confirmation email the moment your package is on its way.

3. Order Availability & Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time. Because we rely on sourcing high-quality, specific materials for our artisanal designs, there may be rare occasions where a material becomes unavailable. If we are unable to source the materials needed to complete your order, we will notify you immediately, cancel the order, and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

4. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your jewelry. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • Eligible Items: All items, including earrings, are eligible for return. Jewelry must be unworn, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We charge a flat fee for returns, which will be deducted directly from your final refund amount.

  • To initiate a return, please contact us at your-email@domain.com with your order number.

5. Shipping & Customs

We ship worldwide from Lisbon. Shipping rates are calculated as a flat rate at checkout depending on your region.

  • International Orders (Outside the EU): Please note that deliveries outside the European Union may be subject to local import duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.

6. Governing Law

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
